Rivendell Bridal is a UK based business run by designer Emily Rossiter, specializing in made to measure Medieval & Elvish style Wedding dresses for brides all over the world. The range also covers a variety of other alternative style wedding dresses including Lord of the Rings inspired designs, Fairy/woodland and ethereal styles.
All the dresses are made to measure here in the UK in my studio at Burnham on sea. You can order a dress no matter what country you are in, we ship internationally and have made dresses for brides all over the world (please see our real brides page for testimonials & pictures).
You can choose one of the styles in the collection, or mix features of dresses that you like to create a dress that's perfect for you.

I have been designing and making wedding dresses since I was 16 in secondary school. I have always has a passion for period design mainly the medieval era and also fictional fantasy design. After leaving school and working on dresses part time on the side of another job for a few years, in 2003 I decided to set up the business full time, as I was getting such a positive response from work I had been doing part time. It was wonderful to discover there are other people who have the same visions and desires as I would have for my wedding dress! When I am designing and making my dresses, I enter my own world and use this as inspiration to create something beautiful, which is one of the main things which makes doing this so enjoyable!
Our latest photo shoots were done in the woods around Holford village where Brian Adams also chose to film his video for the song 'Everything I Do' from 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves'.
